Acer Africa change in management
Acer Africa has announced that Country Manager, Graham Braum has decided to part ways with the consumer technology provider after 15 years of employment.
The current Business Unit (BU) Managers will retain their postions and will continue to uphold the current business and momentum until the group receives further notice of a an appointment in the position of Country Manager.
Braum joined Acer Africa in 1997 as the company’s first Corporate Account Manager, and subsequently developed his career with the group in a variety of roles, ranging from technical and sales, through to business development and general management.
He helped to grow Acer Middle East from a small notebook base in 2003 to become a leading mobility player with over 25% market share before returning to South Africa in 2007 to serve as Acer Africa’s commercial manager.

Braum has decided to focus his career on new ventures and turn his attention to new career opportunities.
